In August 2023, Clay County District Schools opened our 43rd school facility – the newly constructed Spring Park Elementary School located on CR 315. Designed to provide space for expected growth in the area, Spring Park Elementary provides relief to Lake Asbury Elementary, Paterson Elementary, Rideout Elementary, Charles E. Bennett Elementary and Thunderbolt Elementary School.

Spring Park Elementary School, located at 3530 County Road 315, Green Cove Springs, FL, is scheduled to open August 2023. As a result, an attendance zone must be created and the surrounding impacted schools’ zones must be revised.

The map listed below represents the Clay County School Board’s recommended zones. A public hearing will be scheduled on this topic Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Teacher Training Center at Fleming Island High School, 2233 Village Square Parkway, Fleming Island, FL 32003.
